  • Also known as psychotherapy or counseling, is a form of mental health treatment that involves one-on-one meetings between a client and a licensed mental health professional. The goal of individual therapy is to help the client understand and address their emotional, mental, and behavioral health needs.

  • It is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on helping couples improve their relationship. It is often used to address a wide range of issues, such as communication, conflict resolution, and trust. During couples therapy, the therapist will ask questions and guide conversations to help the couple better understand each other’s feelings, needs, and perspectives.

    We will also work on developing strategies to improve the relationship and resolve concerns. Couples therapy can help couples learn to identify and express their feelings, understand the impact of their actions, and learn to effectively communicate with each other. It can also provide a safe space for couples to work through conflicts and rebuild their relationship.

  • It is a type of therapy that focuses on the dynamics and relationships among family members in order to improve the functioning of the family unit, which seeks to address issues such as communication problems, parenting challenges, and conflict resolution. Family therapy typically involves all members of the family and may involve individual sessions, couple sessions, and/or group sessions.

    The therapist works with the family to help identify problems, encourage open communication, and develop strategies for resolving conflicts. Family therapy can also help family members gain better insight into the dynamics of their relationships, and develop healthy ways of interacting with one another. Family therapy is an effective way of helping families build healthier and stronger relationships, and can be an important part of resolving challenges and creating lasting change.

MEET YOUR THERAPIST

  • I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in creative, individualized, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive interventions. I work with preteens, adolescents, adults, couples, and families to address a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. My focus is on helping my clients build on their unique strengths to create positive change.

    I strive to empower individuals and families to make informed decisions and foster self-compassion to promote growth and well-being. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and licensed in NJ and NY. My approach is integrative with focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), as well Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) informed.

  • I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who completed my Masters at New York University. I have used systemic and transgenerational theories and emotional-focused therapy. I specialize in working with children ages 5 and up, couples, and families in several areas such as complex trauma.

    My approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, and I strive to provide my clients with a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment. I am licensed in New York and New Jersey and am passionate about helping individuals and families live balanced lives.
